- Drawn from the same set of December 28-31, 1971 concerts that made up The Band's Rock of ages double LP concert album (released: October 1972), this five-disc set contains two compact discs (discs 1 and 2) containing selections from the December 1971 Rock of ages concerts newly mixed by Bob Clearmountain, two compact discs (discs 3 and 4) containing the mostly previously unissued soundboard recordings from the December 31, 1971 concert performance, and a DVD videodisc containing selected tracks from compact discs 1 and 2 in 5.1 surround sound as well as film clips from the December 30, 1971 concert.
